Ury House, morning

From £149.00
27 x 28 cm

This painting is from one of the first drawings I did following our move to the Ury Estate in 2004. The magnificent mansion house that forms the centre piece of the Estate had sadly been reduced to a ruin. Fortunately, their were plans to rebuild the house... but, 20 years on, these still remain only plans and the house continues to wait for it's transformation back to past glories...

Giclée Printing

Based on the French verb gicler, meaning to squirt or spray, the term 'giclée' was originally coined by French printmaker Jack Duganne and the process involves using large format inkjet printers with small spraying devices to create high-quality prints, comparable to that of the original painting.

In order to produce such high-quality prints, a high-resolution copy of the original artwork is created and this is then reproduced using specialist pigment-based inks and archival quality, acid free papers.

The greatest hits...

Through our collaboration with the Artist, we have unrivalled access to their back catalogue of work and are able offer an exclusive range of prints from these images, each one hand-picked by the Artist based on what he believes will make a great print.

This first round of prints draws on the Artist’s work from around 2014-15 and provides a good representation of the images that were coming out of the Studio at this time.

New work will be added to the site on a regular basis so keep in touch with the website to catch the ‘latest drops’ or follow Francis on instagram to find out about new product launches.
